Video game brands are back in the Top 3

It’s no surprise that GoPro sits at the top of this month’s ranking, but it’s definitely impressive to see the brand increase their social media numbers as much as they have in August. Being at the top hasn’t made their social media team lazy—with 9.366.912 total social media interactions, GoPro demonstrated a +20% performance increase over the course of one month. Video game brands PlayStation and Xbox also showcased strong performance increases, with Sony’s console experiencing a +276% improvement (7.835.854 interactions) and Microsoft’s console displaying a +398% improvement (5.478.665 interactions). If anyone can catch GoPro, it’s PlayStation; with several big announcements over the last couple of months, will the Japanese gaming brand finally achieve enough interactions next month to overtake 1st place?

If they can get another Top Post like they did in August, then it’s very possible. Their Instagram post about the recently released limited edition PS4 Pro (celebrating 500 million PlayStation units sold) received a staggering 641.345 interactions! We can see why… it’s a sleek piece of hardware:
