Qatar Airways takes off thanks to a viral video

Qatar Airways managed to defend the leading position in the Social Media Ranking of International Airlines by achieving 1.815.323 interactions in total during the month of March. This could be achieved mainly by posting a viral video both on Facebook and Instagram (click on the content-type „All“ in the Top-Post section to view the video). In the video, Qatar Airways lets one of its airplanes compete against an ABB Formula E race car, one of the fastest cars in the world.

Singapore Airlines new in Top 3

Emirates Airlines again reaches the second place with 1.689.151 social interactions. The third place goes to Singapore Airlines, climbing up 5 places in the ranking and right into the Top 3 with 632.014 interactions. Just like in the previous Social Media Ranking of Airlinesthe biggest part of the interactions for almost all Airlines was achieved on the platform Instagram (hover over the numbers with your mouse to see more detailed statistics).
