The list of pages in March is not surprisingly headed by The Huffington Post with an astounding number of 29,7 million interactions. USA Today with a recent increase of 13 %, holds the second place with over 29 million interactions as well. The main success in the month of March within the top performing group, with an increase of over 70 percent, was achieved by The Bright Side. The Page for uplifting Quotes, Stories, Videos and beautiful daily ‚Live‘ Sunsets, also lifts up the performance on rank 3. It constitutes a perfect escape just at a time where horrifying news about terror attacks are spread on TV stations all over the world. With totally 26.7 million interactions, the media broadcaster makes the world a little brighter and moved up on the podium. The former holder of rank 3 in February, CNN, was thereby pushed down another three places to rank 6.
In March, the second greatest triumph within the top 10 group was accomplished by BuzzFeed. The form of journalism practiced there is a mixture of blog, message-taker and online magazine. Most articles are rich in pictures and videos and so this strategy was fructifying and promptly rewarded with 5 ranks up.
